How to Verify a Pilot

To verify a pilot’s credentials:

• Check the Pilot ID Number

• Match the pilot’s full name with the register

• Confirm the recorded pilot level

• Check the validity date of the certification

If a pilot does not appear on this register, they are not recognised as a verified pilot within the PPA system.

Verification should always be made through this official register, not by card, screenshot, or claim alone.

What “Verified” Means

A verified pilot is not simply someone who has attended training or spent time in the air.

Within the PPA system, verification means that the pilot has:

• Completed structured training within the PPA Pilot Development System

• Been assessed against defined competency and safety standards

• Demonstrated controlled flying ability and sound judgement

• Achieved a recognised pilot level within the framework

• Been issued a unique and traceable Pilot ID Number
